Belinda is writing a book and she is so excited. She lived in El Salvador with weekly incidents such as bombs, assassinations, kidnappings and armed assaults. Her strength was in her family, her faith and in a simple practice of listening quietly in front of an open journal.
Belinda is the family story teller. She takes after her Mom. Her book is about Resilient Narratives — these are the things she told herself that helped her get through the most difficult time in her life. She developed a narrative about hardship, God, self, family and faith.
Her parents were missionaries to Guatemala in 1976 and El Salvador 1977- 1979. She weaves together family stories with personal conversations with God. If you want to keep informed on details of her book launch please send her a quick note with your email information. In the comment sections write: She will not share your email.
As a thank you gift, she will send you a pdf of her most popular poem called, Laughter. A poem about authentic connection.
